After several videos singing solo, a meeting, and lots of rumors later, la Banda MS and Snoop Dogg confirm concert in California
La Banda MS and Snoop Dogg have been in talks for a long time. In fact, we give you the rumors that are circulating and how today their collaboration came to light! The rapper and the Mexican northern band will have a concert together in California, United States.
We definitely didn’t see it coming, and although the combination is super weird, we’re curious to see what they come up with.
There’s no doubt that Snoop Dogg has one of the funniest social media accounts in the world. It’s a result of including humor, posting his adventures, funny videos, and memes. You’ll rarely find him posting images about his concerts unless it’s on his official page.
However, in this comic twist of his Internet presence, he surprises us many times. The reason: his taste for diverse music genres, from Rap to Latin and Regional Mexican music.
The latter took us by surprise as it’s the main genre in some of the rapper’s recent mini clips. In them, he makes small introductions, performances or is simply recorded enjoying the songs. He sings them without fear of being criticized for his poor command of Spanish.
Jenni Rivera, La Chona of the Tucanes de Tijuana and songs by La Banda MS are some of the stuff Snoop enjoys listening to. And, the latter band mentioned headlines this news with the Californian.
Rap unites with Banda
This announcement came up in an interview where Snoop made contact with the band. “Yes, Banda MS and I have spoken, and we’ll go to the studio to make music. And it’s going to happen soon. There have been approaches, but nothing is set.”
Now, in February 2020, concert promoter Bobby Dee Presents broke the news that the concert is a fact. La Banda MS and Snoop Dogg’s concert will take place on July 11 at the Toyota Arena, in Ontario, California. Tickets can be purchased online, through Ticketmaster.
We don’t know any other details, but it would be so dope if they came to Mexico, wouldn’t it?
We can’t deny that it’s the collaboration we didn’t know we needed.
