SpongeBob’s cereal will be out soon

In honor of its upcoming movie, Kellogg’s will release a SpongeBob cereal

Kellogg’s announced the release of a SpongeBob cereal in honor of the release of its upcoming film. It will be vanilla flavored and shaped like the popular yellow character. Additionally, it will have Patrick-shaped marshmallows and pineapples.

It’s a fact that SpongeBob is one of the most iconic cartoon characters in the last 20 years. Consequently, since last year, the world witnessed yellow festivities to celebrate this endearing cartoon’s anniversary.

Celebrations included the release of a prequel series explaining the sponge’s childhood and a new movie. In addition, a special episode celebrating its 20 years was released and collaborations galore!

One of the most exciting launches regarding SpongeBob is the new cereal. Kellogg’s will release it, offering fans a new option for breakfast.

The vanilla-flavored cereal will be square-shaped, simulating SpongeBob’s appearance. It will also include Patrick and the pineapple at the bottom of the sea as marshmallows. Thus the experience will go beyond a crunchy cereal; you’ll feel like you’re eating Bikini Bottom!

There’s no exact date for the release yet but it is expected in a few months. In fact, the new 3D movie The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run is expected in May.

It’s worth mentioning that in 2004, a cereal was released but it was in the shape of a jellyfish. However, it seems that the cereal is not the only surprise, because according to @candyhunting, there’s more. Apparently, a Rice Krispies bar in the shape of a square with the character’s motifs is also in the works.

So stay tuned for the new SpongeBob movie to get a taste of the cereal! Now we can truly tell SpongeBob: “Hey, I saw you on TV last night.”
