Art, clothing, and music: the summary of the collaboration between J Balvin and Takashi Murakami

J Balvin and Takashi Murakami launched the official merch to promote the Colombian’s latest album, Colores. This artistic collaboration highlights the passion the reggaeton singer has for urban art.

In March, J Balvin premiered Colores, an album with 10 tracks that marked an evolution for the singer. Particularly for the variety of rhythms that culminate in a style of reggaeton fusion.

Additionally, Murakami’s iconic flowers were used for the promotion of this album. These always include a smile that denotes a lot of energy, accompanied by two eyes in the form of rays.

Moreover, this is the art of Japanese Takashi Murakami, who has kept urban and contemporary art on a high standard. Hence, collaborations with artists who are killing it worldwide are not uncommon.

Furthermore, the collaboration included the album cover where flowers with petals of different colors are repeated. In addition to the official lyric videos for each song and official merchandise.

The latter includes a variety of very simple T-shirts and hoodies in different colors. In addition, the image of the flower is repeated on its own or with the names of the colors.
