Moreover, the audios have been rescued through a sound project by the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature. Among these, a couple belonging to lectures given by muralist and painter Diego Rivera were recently published.

These audios were rescued by the Directorate of Architecture and Conservation of the Real Estate Artistic Heritage and the National Phonoteque. Furthermore, they were part of a project developed in 1954 when Miguel Alvarez Acosta became director of INBAL.

At that time, Diego Rivera’s participation consisted of two talks at the National College: “A Call Young Architecture, Young Painting and Young Sculpture”and the second one,“New Values in Visual Arts.”

In the first one, he made a theoretical and practical analysis of the work of the architect José Luis Hernández Mendosa. While in the latter, he focused on reflecting on Cubism and modern architecture.
