Mathew Zefeldt ‘s exhibition is inspired by the Grand Theft Auto V video game and you can see it at Celaya Brothers Gallery
Following the union of Celaya Brothers Gallery and All City Canvas, we are excited to announce Mathew Zefeldt ‘s arrival in Mexico. As he does so with Vistas, an incredible exhibition in which he presents his works inspired by the classic Grand Theft Auto V (GTAV).

The American artist has exhibited his work in galleries and museums in the United States. And now he does so in Mexico City on October 10th at the CBG gallery, located at Edison 137 in Colonia San Rafael.

In addition to creating, Mathew also teaches drawing and painting at the University of Minnesota; so he knows how to show art in a didactic way, as well as innovate in aesthetic discourse.

The works of Views show that fixation on the “minimum details within the virtual world.” Zefeldt draws on the graphics of the video game and mixes them with the landscapes of his native California.

It is a universe in which reality and fiction are not distant, on the contrary, they play each other, they complement each other. In this way we live each work through its memories and delve into our memories when we see them for the first time.

Don’t miss it! And remember that Vistas will be on display from October 10 to November 9, 2019. To attend the opening, just confirm your attendance at this Facebook event.
