If you’ve been trying your luck in the kitchen during these quarantine times, it would be a good idea to prepare a dish that pairs well with the wine that Snoop Dogg will release this summer. Moreover, the rapper has entered the world of enology with a bottle of wine that you can enjoy chilled.
The name of the product is Snoop Cali Red and it was made possible by his collaboration with the Australian wine brand 19 Crimes. Furthermore, this line is a remembrance of British criminals or “convicts turned settlers,” as Snoop calls them.
The company was established in 2012 as an “homage” to the English criminals who arrived in Australia and were the ones that shaped the country. In addition, you’ll have to keep an eye out for the details as some editions are planned to have augmented reality tags.
In addition, the Snoop Cali Red becomes the first Californian wine within Australian wine lines. Hence, it is a contract between the rapper and the brand to add more editions. And of course, the tag could not be headed by anyone but Snoop himself.
Moreover, the formula consists of 65% Petite Syrah, 30% Zinfandel and 5% Merlot per bottle, according to Food & Wine. It’s priced at $12 on the 19 Crimes website. An interesting mix for all wine lovers.
“Snoop embodies the spirit of 19 Crimes: breaking the rules, creating culture and overcoming adversity,” said John Wardley, Marketing Vice President for Treasury Wine Estates. Finally, if his concert with the MS Band or his Guinness World Record were not enough, here’s something more from the OG.
