A compilation with the works by the iconic artist by the famous publishing house, Taschen
Antoni Gaudí is one of the figures of modern architecture par excellence; that’s why the publisher Taschen recently published a book that collects the most memorable buildings by this artist.
It is a publication consisting of 368 pages, where we learn more about projects by the Catalan architect such as Casa Batlló; Casa Vicens, and his most recognized creation, the Sagrada Familia. Hence, this and more can be found in Gaudí: The Complete Works.
Moreover, the book was written by Rainer Zerbst and celebrates the unique aesthetic and eccentric personality of the Catalan icon. In addition, the book as a whole tells us about an architectural genius who was in charge of overseeing some of the most ambitious architectures in the world.
Furthermore, the content of the publication includes completely new photographs; blueprints and drawings of the architect himself. In addition, it features all of his works, from the buildings we know and love, to the furniture, interior decoration, and some spectacular unfinished projects.
Many of the images portray Barcelona dressed by Gaudí’s imaginary and its influences of Orientalism and natural forms, new and progressive materials, and religion in the modernist style.
Finally, Gaudí: The Complete Works is now available on Taschen’s official website. A true gem for all lovers of architecture and the work of Antoni Gaudí.
