In a short trailer, Mortal Kombat announced that The Joker and Spawn will be in the game

The Joker and Spawn take Mortal Kombat 11 as a battle pass and are presented in a trailer. They are the latest characters from the current DLC of the popular fighting game.

The announcement that these characters would be featured took place last year and Terminator, Shang Tsung, Nightwolf and Sindel were added to the list.

But until now, only the Joker and Spawn are to be released. Moreover, they were revealed on January 28 and March 17, respectively. However, the wait is about to end with the next character’s new release.

The trailer featuring the Joker also shows some fighting moves and his fatality, one of the most amazing ones in this Mortal Kombat. We dare say that it’s the best in the entire history of the saga.

It shows the Joker delivering a cake to his rival with a strange decoration; as the later accepts it, in the back there’s a sign with balloons that says “Friendship”.

The Joker’s brutal fatality

And, as expected, the cake explodes, catapulting the enemy. But that’s not all, as the enemy falls, the Joker shoots him with a machine gun, dismembering him. Finally, a sign with the word “Fatality” comes down and cuts the rival in half.

Likewise, one of the teasers featured on Twitter by the game’s co-creator, Ed Boon, brought nostalgia to the fans as it referenced the exploding hospital scene from The Dark Knight (2008). As we know, Heath Ledger played Batman’s nemesis, becoming one of the best live-action adaptations to this day.

In addition, the trailer welcoming Spawn from the underworld has been released. And to many’s surprise, this release is much more violent than expected.

From the beginning, you can see the use of chains, firearms, a sword, and a barbed club. Furthermore, it can become invisible for a few seconds and relies on its popular strings.

But that’s not all: the fatality of the trailer explains why it took so long for this character to be added on March 17 alongside new skins for some characters.
