Christoph Niemann advocates for freedom of information in The Paper

The illustrator Christoph Niemann released his book The Paper, a publication that celebrates the joy of reading newspapers and magazines. It also seeks to support Reporters Without Borders, an organization that promotes freedom of information.

For Niemann, the significance of freedom of information in the world is huge as it can help solve many problems of great public interest with fewer obstacles.

Thus, he ensures that the press usually needs protection from threats, persecution, and violence, ensuring safety, health and a more enjoyable environment for all societies.

He displays different illustrations where we can appreciate the journalistic work. Additionally, he features very important elements for journalists and any reporter or communicator.

In the previews of the book, you can see that all illustrations are made with black lines on pink backgrounds that contrast very well.

Some peculiar ones include a couple sleeping, covering themselves with a newspaper, as well as a few pages of a newspaper where the classic Illuminati triangle is featured.

These show the simple and graphic humor that characterizes Neimann. Additionally, we appreciate pieces with a very minimalist and blunt style. Very Neimann.

The first edition of this book was published by Abstractometer Press, designed by Ariane Spainer with a total of 194 pages.
