This end of the year brought a wide variety of footwear proposals. And we know we all love sneakers; which is why we give you a list of the top 19 sneakers of the year.

For all fans of urban fashion and kicks, we give you a selection that collects the work of the masters of sportswear and streetwear. Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 “Cactus Jack”

On May 11, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 “Cactus Jack” were released, which were the most wanted on the first day of the year. It was the Jordan 1 model in a colorway that mixes black, white and brown with pink laces. The most peculiar detail of the design was the inverted swoosh and a concealed pocket sown on the ankle area.

New Balance x Aimé Leon Dore

Under the slogan “Life in the Balance,” the two brands fused their talent to give us a reinterpretation of the classic 990 design. Consequently, they presented two color palettes, both quite organic: the 990 v2 and the 990 v5. They were released on November 15 and Aimé Leon Dore’s doors were crammed with fans hoping to buy a pair.

sacai x Nike LDWaffle

Take note of this model because it caused quite a sensation. And it’s no wonder, because Chitose Abe, the creative mind behind sacai, teamed up with Nike to give us a pair with a hybrid silhouette based on the designs of the LDV and the Waffle Racer. In addition, three different colorways were published.

adidas x Nice Kicks Ultra Boost 1.0

Undoubtedly, the Adidas Ultra Boost model is one of the most successful of this year. However, we want to pinpoint this one specifically because we love its design and color palette with that tie-dye effect that contrasts with the white or black sole. Its launched on the first day of November to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Woodstock music festival.

Louis Vuitton Trainer

Virgil Abloh always surprises us with his creations and the Louis Vuitton Trainers were no exception. Above all, the designer was inspired by vintage basketball sneakers. There are two available types: the low to high top. The white, red and green color palette are suitable for any time of the year. In addition, it has the iconic Louis Vuitton signature on the side.

Adidas Skateboarding x Beastie Boys

July 25th marked 30 years since the release of the Beastie Boys’ second album Paul’s Boutique. Hence, Mike D and Ad-Rock take back the Adidas Canvas model to give it a soft color palette with whites, marbled gray, and brown tones. Additionally, you can see the nineties influence.

Nike SB x Parra

On July 27, the two streetwear brands came together to release two kicks with very peculiar features: Duno Low and Blazer Low. Consequently, the Dutch artist Piet Parra selected these models because they perfectly emulate the skate aesthetic of the 90s. Additionally, the swoosh comes embroidered and multicolored. In the back, you’ll also find the Parra logo.

Nike x Undercover Daybreak

Only Undercover could surprise us like this. Nike x Undercover Daybreak is a piece that boasts complete luxury and innovation. The upper part is made of a durable waterproof material and Takahashi’s iconic “U” underlined motif adorns the heel of the shoe. We can’t mention this collaboration without focusing on the EVA midsole that extends along the heel. It was released on June 7 of this year.

New Balance 1500 ‘Sample Lab’

New Balance celebrated the 30th anniversary of its iconic 1500 shoe, thus featuring the colorful M1500PRT. Hence, its most characteristic feature is the tribal print that is part of the new “Sample Lab” package. It also has an ENCAP-powered midsole and a durable rubber sole. It was released on March 5.

Nike SB Dunk High ‘Walk the Dog’

Nike gave all sneakers and dog fans a pair that pays homage to man’s best friend. The neck part of the shoe is a mixture of colorful pony hair tones. Additionally, the sides resemble the stained fur of a Dalmatian.

Surely these Vans Breast Cancer Awareness are one of the most spectacular collaborations of the year! As their name indicates, they seek to raise awareness about breast cancer with different items, including these amazing sneakers. Air Force 1 Low x Travis Scott

Travis Scott does it again! This time with a spectacular Model of Air Force 1 Cactus Jack. For his creation, Travis had all the creative freedom and used his life in Houston as inspiration. As a matter of fact, the touches of nature and the surreal atmosphere are already seen in his renowned Astroworld. Any and all connoisseurs will definitely want them in their collection. They were released on November 16.

Nike Air Force 1 Low x G Dragon

Among the artistic collaborations, this special Nike Air Force 1 Low model was created by the amazing artist G Dragon. A pair made for the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike project, whose main features focus on its black leather structure. Additionally featuring flower details on the tongue and eyelets. As well as different parts of the sneaker. Hence a model that is easy to match and so beautiful. This shoe was released on November 23.
