Ibiza reflects the Latin American style on its walls and spaces. Spaik, Gaucholadri, Inti, Acampante and Tomás Laurenzo are artists that in each edition manage to leave a little bit of Latin America in Spain.

Spaik

Every year Bloop Festival chooses a phrase or word with which the works and the program of activities are created. In 2016, “Sin Miedo” (Without Fear) was the theme of that edition and the Mexican artist Spaik made a mural in the streets of Ibiza. His style is inspired on Latin American folklore. His murals always portray cultural or identity relatedelements with the traditions and customs of the place where paints. Spaik will return to the island this year to once again leave his Latin style!

Gaucholadri

Gaucholadri is a duo of Argentine urban artists formed by Marcos Zerene and Federico Calandria, graphic designers known for their series of murals in which they portray icons in black with an ironic message criticizing the social and political issues of countries. In 2014 they participated and won the Win a Wall Bloop x Gsa contest and were invited to the festival. The phrase for that year’s edition was “The Best – arrogance”.
