A new version of the classic Blade Runner video game will be remastered
The popular 1997 Blade Runner video game will have a new version that will be released in 2020. This remake will include new events, new characters, locations, and an improved plot, bringing back the 1982 film.
Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition is the name of this new video game. And it’s expected to be one of the latest releases of the current generation of consoles.
Moreover, the story is about Roy McCoy, the hunter of rebel androids, which takes place in 1982, just like in the film. The actors Sean Young, James Hong, Jon Turkeñ, Brion James and William Sanderson take up their roles in the film. The cast is just one of the reasons that fans will run to buy this game. Additionally, it’s a new expansion of this cult classic.
It is worth mentioning that the original was relaunched at the end of 2019 with some special formats for modern platforms, which was the beginning of its return.
Fortunately, that come-back experiment of the game worked and Nightdive Studios announced a remaster. In addition, it will include updated character models and animations, enhanced scenes, and support for more modern screens.
Furthermore, there will also be special features that highlight special events such as a need to upgrade to more current video games that use this online feature.
Lastly, this title will be released sometime in 2020, so keep an eye out on Nightdive Studios’ networks.
