Colores collection by Guess and J Balvin is inspired by the singer’s latest album
After doing the art for Colores, Takashi Murakami couldn’t resist the desire to present a collection inspired by J Balvin’s latest album; now, it’s Guess’ turn to release more items that ride the fever of Latin music and a taste of streetwear.
The new collaboration reflects the cultural diversity of his native country. In Balvin’s words, “To have this great global campaign with Guess, I highlighted the vitality of the people and culture of Medellin. It’s another opportunity to show the world how beautiful and surprising Colombia is, and the vibrant artistic vibes throughout the city and the country.”
In addition, the line is very diverse; it includes items for women, men, and even kids. For the women’s line, you’ll find cropped tops and hoodies, tight jumpsuits, joggers, matching two-piece tracksuits. As well as a cropped denim jacket and a short cut denim set.
Moreover, T-shirts, hoodies, and joggers are available in the men’s line in tie-dye, stripes, and colorful prints. Guess was also interested in the little ones of the house with 26 limited edition pieces in fun styles for kids ages 4 to 12.
Key prints in the men’s collection include Colombian patterns on a buttoned-down shirt, nylon shorts, and a jacket. Furthermore, the collection also includes accessories like socks, bags, and boxers.
Lastly, the Guess x J Balvin collection will be released on June 5 on the website of the clothing brand. You can also see more models from the collection on Guess’ Instagram.
