J Balvin’s Jordans, what we know so far

After his brief appearance at the Super Bowl, news of J Balvin’s Jordans commercial release was announced

Undoubtedly the Super Bowl LIV’s halftime brought surprises and a clear one was the news of J Balvin’s Jordan launch. According to the singer’s social networks, they will be released in July as an official collaboration.

Another surprise came up during the Shakira and Jennifer Lopez halftime show of the 54th edition of the Super Bowl when Bad Bunny appeared. Additionally, J Balvin sported the unique Jordans with a very colorful outfit.

The silhouette is none other than the Air Jordan 1 with a very extravagant intervention J Balvin-style that alludes to the singer’s upcoming album entitled Colores, from which some singles have already been released.

Earlier, the model was seen on the reggaeton singer’s social networks. Although we thought the pair was made exclusively for him, it is a collaboration with the renowned brand.

However, it was on reggaeton singer Anuel’s Instagram that the release date was announced as well as the commercial collaboration. “The J Balvin Jordans come out in July,” commented the Colombian in an Instagram story.

The sneakers display the classic basketball design with a crazy intervention. It has a layered multicolored fabric coating with cuts on the swoosh and heels. A much more urban style than the original design.

It also has peculiar touches from the singer, such as the smiley face located on one side of each sneaker, as well as at the end of the tongue of the left shoe.

There is no official news of the release date by Jordan, but there’s still time till July. Hence these sneakers could be part of the promotion and surprises of Colors, the album that will be released in March.
