No doubt: every cloud has a silver lining, and this time, it’s the collaboration between Takashi Murakami and Hello Kitty

The show must go on! Thus, after the news of Takashi Murakami’s bankruptcy, the artist continues working, and this time he will do so with Hello Kitty and Sanrio in a project we have very few details of.

New collaboration w @hellokitty @sanrio

A post shared by Takashi Murakami (@takashipom) on

What we do know is that a couple of days ago Murakami posted a photo on his Instagram where he reveals their collaboration. The scene is adorable as we can see one of Murakami’s characters sitting next to Sanrio’s most famous kitty.

Murakami’s new character reminds us of the one he created for the collaboration with Louis Vuitton. However, Hello Kitty’s companion has other multicolored stripes and each ear sees a huge letter “P”. In the foot of the photo, the artist did not resist and made the news official: New collaboration with Hello Kitty and Sanrio.

So far neither the artist nor Sanrio have revealed more details of the collaboration. Furthermore, we don’t know the name of the mysterious character that accompanies the kitten. However, as the news breaks out, keep watching the collaborations with Billie Eilish and Uniqlo or what he put together with J Balvin, to name a few. W are certain that what he’s “cooking” with the famous kitten will be just as cool as everything he does.
